2. Principle

The protection of your personal data is important to us. We process your data exclusively within the framework of legal provisions (DSG, GDPR where applicable).

3. Data Collected

The following data is processed when using our website:

  • Uploaded photos: Are processed in your browser. When you click “Buy now”, the finished passport photo and the print sheet are transferred to our server, that is, before payment.
  • Payment data: Is processed directly by our payment service provider zahls.ch. We have no access to your credit card or bank details.
  • Server logs: IP address, date, time and pages accessed are temporarily stored.

4. Image Processing

Face detection and background removal are performed entirely in your browser using AI technology. Your original images are not transmitted to our servers.

The finished passport photo and the print sheet are saved on our server when you click “Buy now”, so that they are available for download immediately after payment. They can only be downloaded after successful payment. Both images are automatically deleted after 7 days, even if no payment was made.

5. Payment Processing

Payment processing is handled by zahls.ch (siebenberge gmbh, Switzerland). During payment, you will be redirected to the secure payment page of zahls.ch. Their privacy policy applies: zahls.ch Privacy Policy

6. Cookies and web analytics

Our website uses technically necessary cookies where they are required to operate the website.

To analyse how the website is used, we use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google Analytics sets cookies (_ga and _ga_*, stored for up to 2 years) and records, among other things, the pages visited, the time spent on them, information about your device and browser, and your approximate location. For visits from Switzerland, the EU and the United Kingdom, Google Analytics does not store IP addresses. The IP address is only used to determine your approximate location and is discarded afterwards. The data may also be transferred to Google LLC in the USA. Google LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

We use these analyses solely to improve the website. Your uploaded photos are not transmitted to Google Analytics.
